Raising cars fro m the dead

my dad has been battling w his old mechanic over cars for four years we just won the case and now have to get the cars home, they have been sitting for 4 years

    84 chevy one ton

Im posting because I wanted to get opinions on removing the cars, Im guessing the brakes both drum and disc will be rusted preventing the wheels from turning. Should I just try unbolting the calipers of let the tow driver "drag them up" im getting a flat bed.
What else should i be vigilant of?

obviously new fluids and tuneups will have to be done thats not the point of this thread and I dont need any help(for now) w that.

Drum type brakes can seize to the drum, but they will usually free up as soon as the vehicle is moved. Disc brakes won't be a problem.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

There is no such car as a 1971 2002 Tii ?

Also, get a pressure bleeder to flush all the hydraulics without stroking the pedals and possibly damaging the seals inside the cylinders.

With stuck brakes, you give them a love tap with a hammer.

This has worked for me many a time.

Also, four years isn't a tremendously long time. Definitely do all the fluids, and then I'd just fire them up and see what happens. Does the engine in the 2002 have a timing chain? Seems like it's too early for belts. The m30s and the v8 should be fine.
