If I saw this thread title I probably would have skipped over it a few months ago. I never liked the celica and always thought they were a pretty girly car; that was until I drove my friend's (2005 Celica GT). After driving it around for a few months I've grown accustomed to the vehicle and have considered purchasing my own because I saw a great deal pop up.
The car I found is a 2002 Clecia that "runs great" but the owner says either a throwout bearing or a bearing in the gearbox is gone. Here is the link:

Just looking to get a few opinions on if I should take this deal or not. The shitty thing is I would have to get the vehicle taken to a shop for install because I don't have any tools or access to tools where I am. The parts themselves shouldn't be too much, T/O bearing is about $80 and a transmission would be around $500 +shipping, then install. I'd say $2000 (redo brakes and what not) to get this back on the road.
So R3v, hit it or leave it?
