    m30 afm pics?

anyone have pics of an m30 afm installed? What did you use for a bracket. I'm going to fab something up tonight but wanted to see what's already been done.

Hell that's easy enough. Where did you get your elbow to replace the boot and the fittings to put in the side of it?

i used the stock box, and cut out all the parts not needed, just enough for the mounting rubbers, and to give it a little strength.
but that does look alot more bling--nicer--except the duct tape on the cover

thats not my setup, just a good example, i plan on doing something similiar.
I believe he just had a that piece custom bent for him, modified to connect to the ICV, I also believe something simliar to those plastic parts can be found in the plumbing section, used on PCV drain pipes.

Right now im using the stock airbox.

Thanks guys. I don't have the stock box in mine so I'll have to fab up a bracket, shouldn't be an issue though.

                      Vibrant performance 90 degree elbow...cheap!!!

                      Hi guys,

I made myself something similar. I went to my local speed shop and bought a Vibrant performance 90 degree elbow (I think it was 2.75 inch, but they have 3 inch too in polished aluminum...can't remember...my car is in storage 4 hours away). Anyway, it cost about $40 Canadian. I drilled a one inch hole in it, and put a one inch rubber grommet from home depot (couple of bucks for a few of them), and the hard plastic piece from the BMW intake plugs right into it. Then I ordered the same silver silicone connectors online from the same guys that did Dave's (weapon-R). The only difference is that I haven't installed the M30 AFM yet.

I can get pics, but it will take a while.
