They are really quite common here in South Africa. So much so my old man has 2, a 1986 2.1lt 4 cyl (vw boxer motor), and a 1996 2.6lt (unique South African 5cyl model, engine is basically a stroked Audi 5cyl).

Think they were built here till 2005

I have a bus, They are nice.. When they run that is. Aircooled and Florida weather doesnt go great together haha
