    Bought a new car! (True Life; I'm a Ricer)

    Well a friend of mine was in a pinch so I helped him out and bought his shell.

    It's a 92 civic si (hatch obv). power sunroof no leaks, rare black with black interior, usual honda cancer on the rear wheel wells. borbet type c's.

    Here's the kicker. It had a b-series swap in it before, which blew as timing was off as was the cam. So no motor or tranny. But included with the sale are; b series motor and tranny mounts, b series axles, uberdata p28 ecu, dc sports 4-1 header, and new radiator.

    interior is in great shape, even has the rare cargo cover!

    here are some pics when the motor was still in it (obv the front is now in 4x4 mode).

    not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet. seeing as I have ~6k that will be coming in when I sell my 99 civic with fresh sohc vtec swap, 3 angle valve job, skunk2 coilovers, and bolt ons;

    I may put a b16 or b18 in and drive it in the winter/on long trips. My wagon is my baby and I hate driving it every day. and my 325e is rusted out.

    Or I may just sell the shell. Haven't decided yet.

      I don't give 2 shits what everyone else says.... 92-95 civics are hot. Had a 92 ex coupe done to the hilt minus motor work before I joined. Miss that thing.

      I've got power motorized folding LED mirrors for that thing if you are interested.....

        it's an si so it's got power mirrors already. if i keep it (my intention is to re-sell it, but i'm not sure), only things I would do is suspension, fix the rust, and a b16 or b18c1. oh, and a cf duckbill ftw

          My brother has a red one, it's pretty sick. It's just the SOHC motor, but right after he bought it, it blew the head gasket, so while he had the head off, a friend of his at a machine shop ported and polished it. It's pretty damn quick now, I love driving it.

            get a b18b from an integra ls. One of the cheapest b series motors and it has good internals and iron sleeves so you can boost and get around 230-250 whp on the stock motor with a t3/t4. Makes good torque too compared to other turbo hondas..

              No dammit.... buy these mirrors. *LOL* They are power FOLDING meaning that they fold in by the touch of a button and they have the built in turn signals. I need to get rid of this shit that I've got layin round and I'll sell it DIRT cheap.

                lol.

                bmwmike-I'm familiar with the honda options out there, I actually used to have quite a few. 94 accord, 89 civic hatch, 89 crx, 92 civic hatch. currently have a 99 civic coupe, just finished a d16y7 block with d16y8 head single cam vtec got a 3angle valve job a few bolt ons etc.

                If I do drop a motor into this, (which I might do, my roommate said he wants my eta) it would just be an n/a b series. I need reliability. Not to say that b18b turbos can't be done reliably, I just don't really want to deal with the headache.
