I have seen plenty of those seats over the years over here. Unfortunately, they are cheap seats. still cool, but they were (ebay) seats before e-bay.

Ok thanks Mikeedler. Unfortunately if you are correct Levent will be upset! He emailed me and says that his and mine are Recaro.

I see where Keiper Recaro, Inc. filed a US trademark on the name "Design Touring" on May 18. 1988. I don't know what model they might be, but it seems they probably are Recaro.

Just by touching the foam, you should be able to feel what they are. there is ZERO support in those seats. Maybe Recaro did produce them......... but they aren't a quality Recaro product.

Not bashing on them, cause they are cool early 90s "tuning." Lets see some pics of the car they are in!!!

I found this also, but didn't look through it all. You may have seen it already, but here is the link:

RECARO RESOURCE GUIDE https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First off here is some basic Recaro knowledge, hopefully you guys will appreciate it. It mostly covers seats made from the late 70s and up, i dont have a ton of info on the earlier seats. I will update this

Maybe they can Identify these, email is info@jjcustominterior.com, or ron@jjcustominterior.com.

Pics of the car are on hold at the moment. Apparently the deal for the car wasnt as solid as I originally thought and the po is having some sellers remorse. Hopefully by Monday night I will know (again) if I own the car or not. Sorry for the tease but it is worth it I promise. Even if I dont get the car I will post pics, I just dont want to jinx it anymore than it already is.

Pics as promised. The deal has been saved but delayed by a few weeks. But no matter what this car is mine!

And I am currently working on refinishing these which will be the second thing installed on this car. The first will be new roundels.
