    Triumph Any one?

Anybody here have or worked on any Triumphs?

    Preferrably TR-3 or TR-4s?

My dads been interested in one for a while (he used to have a few) but hes hesitant to get into something that old.

I honestly think they would be a cool weekend good weather car to just putz around town in.

      TR-2
      TR-3
      TR-3A
      TR-250
      TR-6
      TR-7
      TR-8

My dad has had them all. TR-6 is by far the best of them all, because the 7 and 8 are hideous, and electrical problems are even worse than in the others.

TR-6 is the best bet, its where I learned to drive manual. If you need more details, I can ask my pop about it if you'd like.

yea, TR6, thats what my dad was sayin, too just a min ago. They all look pretty good, TR3/4 being my favs. TR6 looks a lot newer, which can be a good thing.

Plus they are reasonably priced still.

Yea, my dad had a couple in college, he tells a funny story about his transmission dying gear-by-gear on his way home once. Baltimore to Chicago, mostly in 2nd gear.

My uncle has a TR3A. It was a nice car until it sat outside for a while and rusted.

                              Daddy like...

(with panasports it would look better)

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.
