5-20 just happen to be abroad so Eurosport carries it on TV. So wish ESPN/Speed could be more like Eurosport.

I know I miss "Speedvison" that had all that good stuffs, and not the all nascar all the time channel other than when there are reality shows about how close you can guess a trap.............

I heard that they're bringing the Austrailian V8 supercars here this year! I really hope that's true because it will single-handedly remove any good reason for NASCAR to exist, from an actual racing standpoint.

Maybe because North Africa is a completely lawless entity. Having been there numerous times I would not want to race across the northern Sahara with out some form of large caliber weapons.

That was kind of his point I think...They aren't racing to Dakar anymore, so why still call it that?

I think they do just to minimize confusion about what the event is/used to be, regardless of location.

Yah, and it is a well-recognized name with great marketability value.

Ive been watching the 30 minute highlights on a pirate cable TV stream on the weekends and the 3 minute feeds from Dakar's youtube channel. Love Dakar but as usual, coverage sucks in the US.
