    1993 325i convertible?

I just took an engine out of a vert that has a production date of 11/93 and is registered as a 1993. I had always thought that they stopped production in 1992? Does anyone know?

Yep, they made the E30 convert into '93.

Thanks for the info, I didnt know any of that. Thought 92 was it for the E30. M42 sport, I can get just about any used parts for an E30, E28, Or E34???? (89-95 5 series) Guy has a body shop an hour or so from me and he has about 60 or so BMWs there. I will check prices for those latches.

02/94 was the last produce E30 variant and that was a touring. 93 was Verts, 91 325i so the factory killed off the coupes and sedans when the E36 came on line. The Vert disappeared when E36 Vert came about and as well with the Touring.

thats exactly what i thought schnellervert. same thing happened with the E36-E46.
but in germany, the cars go by the first day of registration. sooo.... you could actually find some BFL cars with a "reg. date of 1989 if it sat on a dealer lot for a few years, or 1993 coupes are possible too.

That's true but it's still not a factory produced model in that year...It's just a taxed and tagged formality. Just like a car that is VAT exempt. You see them on www.mobile.de

Well there ya go. There are tons of variants in europe on most popular car lines.

Just like you can get an 06 e46 or 06 e90.
