    Looking for input on Band.

Ok well I play drums for a band of a bunch of my friends. I own a pearl 8- piece double bass set. We can play all syles of music right nwo were playin weezer, metallica, red hot chili peppers, Led Zeppelin, and MXPX cover songs. My question is what songs, if u were a spectator, would u like to hear a band play. Were tryin to figure out some good songs to cover for now while we work on writing originals. One of my favorite covers is our cover of Big Pimpin' featuring full rap vocals lol.

Would kind of depend on the venue. Village People cover in a gay bar would work pretty well. I wouldn't recommend NSYNC or KennyG at a hardcore biker bar though. Gangsta Rap probably wouldn't work at a Sweet 16 party or a wedding either. Depends on the crowd (age of crown, yuppieness of the crowd). You don't want to drive people off, yet you don't want to bore them either. Some minor research of places you'll be playing would probably work well. Just ask the people you'll potentially be playing for.
Don't forget the good things Hitler did.

I grew up playing hard core death metal (I am a guitarist). We rocked this fucking house. Our original music was a kinda like the bands Amorphis and Paradise Lost.

But for partys..play shit people like...Sweet Child O Mine, summer of 69, Sweet home Alabama...typical cool shit...Enter Sandman..etc
