Yep, that's exactly what I meant, especially for you.

Or maybe I was talking about crossing the line from car to be used as a car, you know for driving, to car being used as fashion accessory. You know, basically what I said in the second part of the statement.

But are you sick of the hate or does it only bother you slightly?

Seems to me that there is a different type of crowd interested in molesting nice E30s versus those who ruin reasonable Hondas. Those people are generally the oft maligned "hipster" types and are interested in the car as more of a lifestyle choice/statement that they are cool for driving an old car. Fortunately there is an easy way to fix this, simply remind them that E30s are incredibly commonplace compared to the amazing hipsterness that is the Peugeot 505/. Within 6 months they will be broke, problem solved.

Luckily; 2002s are low on the theft list, they come with an immense sense of prow and self-fulfillment, and driving a classic car when everything else on the road looks like moot; it's a great feeling. Knowing this, I guess you can kinda project what the future of the e30 scene will look like: hopefully just as bright

Same page with you on the IS thing too; gonna keep mine because in a couple years; working, running ISes in good rust-free condition are going to be an even greater premium, and will be even harder to find. Plus, no monthly payments and a classic car to daily around in; sounds like a win/win/win investment to me
im keeping mine forever hopefully i love my little lach IS , i might haft to buy GEs keyless entry and alarm system too

I'm so very sick of lack of basic courtesy and normal driving etiquette on the road.
