For serious, I would buy that at the $500 price point. $2000 + Salvage title is too much, keep hunting.
And, regardless of it should or shouldn't be a salvage title, it is. I'd keep on walking for anything more than $500.Last edited by Farbin Kaiber; 01-23-2013, 11:05 AM.Comment

Easily over a thousand. 1500 maybe. I bought a crashed cabriolet that wouldn't start for like 1300, got over a thousand in free parts, and made a bunch of money selling the rest (as in, well over $1300).The first car I ever rode in was an e30

The control arm damage may be from hooking a tow chain to it. Look it over really well for hidden problems. Check the oil and the coolant. How nasty does it look under the oil cap, all good things too check, it ended up junked for a reason. Also check into what is involved in your state to be able to register that title. Recently in pa it became a lot easier to do but it's used to take a few months. Do your homework before you buy it and is say 1500 tops. Also make sure they didn't already torch the cat off.Dave @ Bimmerbuddies
