two things to understand
1: i live in the same city as the OP and the video
2: People dont really care to race a 4 door e30 with no spoiler, quiet exhaust, and tame wheels. Everyone wants to either race a sportbike or just see and hear one take off.

Its like the ferrari syndrome, if you're cruising along at the speed limit so many people drive like dbags to catch up and check out the car, take pictures, wave at the driver etc. obviously not to the same extent when it's a $7,000 bike but I still meet people who think an acura TL is faster than a gixxer 1000. They always have some story how they "beet one in the straights". Not understanding that it is not a race when only one is trying.

Pretty funny video. I don't see people doing that too often around here. Although there is a wing theory between my roommate an I. He has an STi and people tend to drive like asshats around him. I drive my e46 M3 without anyone doing anything like that. The theory is as the wing grows people become douches on the road regardless of what they drive.

Nah, it would hold up in court unless the person is willing to fight it all the way. Best case you create a new precedent. Worst case you lose a bucket of money and get your car removed from your possession.

I think he did a good job and didn't race that ricer lol ... plus racing on the street is sketchhy especially now a days I saw an m5 pull up to a z06 around my area and once it turned green and they started hauling ass the m5 ended up being an undercover with 3 squad cars up in front waiting to catch people racing.. In Cali I think the cop takes your car to the crusher and they make you press the button.

PO put an exhaust on my eta and I recently lowered my car. I get civics constantly riding my tail and doing flybys. Its hilarious.
