    Anyone recognize this e30?

I am looking at buying this car. It was supposedly restored at Evosport in Huntington Beach, CA back in 2007. The wheels look like Alpina reps but they are 16" according to the seller. (I don't believe him) The car was sold to an owner not far from me and they brought it from Cali. It looks like it was definitely enthusiast owned, based on all the work that was done.

    Anyone recognize this car?

That's what I figured, and I asked the seller and he said they were 16's. I will see the car next week so we'll see

Why are there indents for a five lug setup even though it's four lug?

^Because the Kopi's use one mold, and drill to suit. If you go into the Kopi GB threads, you'll see how big of a deal it was for everyone...

I've actually seen this car on I-35 in Austin about 2 years back. I may have a picture of it one of my computers.

Bingo, that's the town. I was hoping to find the California owner. Can't wait to get it home, I hope it is as nice in person as it is in pictures. :D

Meanwhile I've got a '90 sedan with half its guts out all over my garage. The e30s are multiplying!

Has the giant dent on the rear driver side quarter been repaired?

When I saw the car, I think I remember seeing a girl with a baseball cap driving it.

Does it look sprayed to anyone else? Maybe I'm cray. Definitely looks dented.

It is dented on the left rear quarter panel. I think that's why the price is reasonable. Mechanically, if it's what they say it is, it should be worth some body work. This is going to be a daily driver and autocross car. I'm going to give my '90 325i sedan to my wife and continue to fix it up.

Well I got it! It drives nice and tight. Lots of upgrades (drilled rotors, euro smileys, etc.) It drives great. I think it will need a sending unit as the gas needle jumps around. Also there's a small gas leak by the fuel filter, and the tires need to be balanced. Small things for such a nice car! The best part is they handed me a 3" thick binder with receipts back to the 1st owner. Some guy put around $10k into it in 2007. :D Happy, happy
