Got rear ended, need insurance advice

    Straight off, get the car appraised by an independent appraiser. Do some homework and find someone who deals with the major auction houses such as RM, Goodings, ect. The insurance company isn't there to fix the car, they are they to make themselves money and screw you. (Been there, done that. I've played this game in the past.) Do not settle. It will cost some $ out of your pocket, but odds are you will be able to either get the car fixed, or end up with more $ for the car than the original offer. The insurance company will likely try and value the car as just an E30 and therefore offer you bottom dollar for the car. Make sure you have all the receipts, and proof that the car was in good shape. It will be an uphill battle, but in the end, because M3s are valuable, you should be able to get it fixed.

      Might want to see my thread on when my E30 was totalled. I got paid over $13k for my E30 with S50 swap, and bought the car back for $450. If you need any help, let me know.
