The 88iS I am going to turbo is Marvin, and the 87iS that will become the track whore is Charlotte the Harlot or Charlotte. I just looked them up and they mean "sea friend" and "free man" respectively.

I named mine Leslie... it's not German, it's Scottish, but it means "The Grey Fortress." (I found that out after I picked the name Leslie, which just seemed to fit. She's Delphin grey though, so it works.)

As mentioned in Klaus' build thread, my wife names all the cars. The current fleet is Lucy (Accord Coupe), Elke (E39), Klaus (87iS) and the latest addition, Lola (89iS).

I had lots of cars that I didn't name, then I started driving e30s, and it just made sense. My wife's nickname is Car.. I kid her that I will get a I love Car tattoo.
