    Naming your car is fine.

Naming your car Chase and becoming sexually active with it? Too far....

I named mine Leslie... it's not German, it's Scottish, but it means "The Grey Fortress." (I found that out after I picked the name Leslie, which just seemed to fit. She's Delphin grey though, so it works.)

            Linda.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

My brother named mine Ginger, because of it's color.

it kinda sticked around in our house so now everyone calls it Ginger

Different nick names, but still undecided on a name name! I just call her BABY or my Black queen.

The 88iS I am going to turbo is Marvin, and the 87iS that will become the track whore is Charlotte the Harlot or Charlotte. I just looked them up and they mean "sea friend" and "free man" respectively.

                      ...I guess I drive a manatee.

Objectum sexuality, in German Objektophilie (OS), is a ... romantic desire towards developing significant relationships with particular inanimate objects. ...

EDIT: My Ex wife always told me to go screw my car. lol

I don't name them, but my DD e30 gets referred to as she & on those days where she is running right i give her a pat on the dash.... that sounds weirder typing it then it seems lol

my coupe is the nameless ghost, once it is revived & has a working heart then a name may be on the cards

Naming your car makes you sound like not a complete loser as long as nobody knows you are talking about your car...

"Hey guys, I've gotta hang out with Mark tonight"

                                ...later on that night...

*soft sobs from me sitting in my car, alone.*
