Damn, I was in Vermont skiing over the holidays, and driving all those back roads with gigantic potholes, seems like none of them are paved (dont know about NH but if its anything like southern vt...) I kept thinking to myself that I'm glad I was in a rental car and not my baby.

Its a standard NE thing. The dip I hit was fucking huge. It was snowing as well so even though I wasnt going fast at all I still slid right into it. Bummer

Cars already getting worked on. I need my car back as my Mom got in an accident today from the weather and shell need my car to get to work. It wasnt anything that you could see visually, other than the stream of oil running onto the ground.

Slauncha, I did the same when I had my M42 and it was dumped on GC's

Shattered like glass and made a huge oil slick outside of a gas station

i cracked mine, not bad, just enough to say it cracked.... i guess thats what happens when you rally a lowered bmw on gravel roads... needless to say, drove her home dumping a quart in it about every 10-15k and drained what was left, ground the edge of the crack out a little and JB welded the cocksucker, still not leaking 20,000km's later.....

I wish I couldve brought it to my guy and get it welded up. It really was just a crack. I pulled over right after the bump and it looked ok so I drove a little bit, got to a toll, pulled over again, and saw it was dumping. I was lucky I caught it in time.

but really, what looks like a lot, isn't really as much as you think, i cracked mine on the way to work one day, looked out to the parking lot to see this big oil slick under my car, was under the entire front end and on it's way to the next parkign space, checked the level it was only down a litre maybe
