e28 display in the e30?

since im doing the entire swap, will that obc display in the e28 which i believe shows mpg and such fit into the display spot on my e30?

The E28 and E30 OBC's are the same, minus coding plug differences for the 535i, 528, etc

ya so just swap the coding plug from the m30 OBC to the e30's OBC to get the MPG reading correct.
