I have no fricken clue what she buys, but it's usually presents for people. We also have a good amount of electronic stuff, and shes got a bunch of jewelry and stuff.

ok so i have some strut bars coming in the mail...
what do i have to do to install these? jack the car up off the wheels?? wont the suspension fall when i take off the nuts on the top of the shock tower? forgive these newbie questions, i have never done any suspension work on an e30 myself. thanks

Do it with the car on the ground, then you don't need to worry. The Sparco one only requires undoing 2 of the 3 nuts, and believe me the bolts aren't loose enough to just hit the ground when you take the bolts off. Then just pop it on and rebolt. If it doesn't fit right on the 4 points, you'll have to jack up one side or the other to move the strut tower into the right spot. Be carefult to not impede the throttle or cruise cables. Then just bolt back on. You should eventually drill and bolt on the sides of the tower where the other holes in the bar are, but you can leave that until you put your sport suspension in. On OEM components, you won't feel the difference of the bar much....

Edit - see you've already got that. and you've ordered the BMP ones, so they fit on the 3 bolts, so no need to drill the side of the tower....lol...

                  M42 strut bar

                  here's a surprising sight...check this link out...the top 3 pictures.

one of my customers fitted the strut bar to a M42. I dont know how he did it but looks like its a very tight fit.

I personally tried fitting it onto another m42 car, and it hit the top of the intake manifold.

anyways, just wanted to show u guys this.
                  thanks
