    Didn't even know there was such a thing. Did these come stock or was there most likely a swap done at some point?

        They came as a 324 TD stock. Theres lots of them over here ;)

              yo that car is 2000 miles away from new jersey
              would make a great road trip.

              Can you register these things now in the USA?

                Almost. 25 years. I'd buy and fix it to perfect in the time left, then register it.

                  No because the 324 model were never sold in the US. You have to wait until it turns 25.

                    ah fark. if it was an '89 model built in '88 (common) you'd be all set!
                    most likely it was build in '89, so you can buy it next year :D

                      Buy it and convince the driver to let you take it over the border. Park it for a year and then switch the title. Work out the details, offer more $, well worth it unless the chrome tackiness is covering bad rust.

                        Just had a look at it. That rust spot is the worst of things. Also a dent in the drivers door. Car starts up great every time. Drives well. Passenger side lock doesn't work. No dangerous rust underneath or in the fenders. I'll probably offer $1500.
