So i bought a 535i as a daily. Its in okay condition. Had a respray at one point but when the po had it someone backed into the drivers door and he replaced it with a black junk yard door. Ive thought about a chalk door because its practically there, but that seems pretty burnt.. i wanna see what you guys think. im up for anything. so what do you think?





and the door is very inconvenient. locks dont match so it makes locking/unlocking the car fun

do love! sorry about the bad door, but a respray is in order. A good painter could get the door to match better. My painter did a great match on a light blue 79 malibu, and fixed rust. I know black is hard to match.

Eventually i may do a respray but i just moved to ca and am very low on funds and am struggling to find a job. looking for some cheap, dumb ideas to play with it for now. its diamondschwartz btw

center caps are a cheap upgrade. whats the rest of it look like? interior etc??

i would leave it like it is. anything but chalk. maybe swap the lock cylinder so you don't go crazy locking/unlocking it every day.

havent been able to get under it much but it looks pretty rusty.. hard to say how bad it is without getting it in the air. interiors pretty clean. ill have to get pictures. i actually like not having center caps. And plastic bumpers will never happen either. i fucking love diving boards on these cars.

I like the keyless entry idea.
