In Germany they have a full spec rally series for M42-powered e30s and e36s, where you have to run stock engine, stock or IX springs, bilstein HDs, and very few other mods - specifically to keep it a low-budget series. We consult with several of those guys all the time for our setup and driving ideas....they're kind of our "team across the ocean"

Kind of cool, they put our local rallycross team is actually featured on their homepage :)
