        total amount of items i can remember which generally remain inside my e30:

        cds + cd case, ipod + cable
        owner's manual/registration/insurance
        gloves (cold in winter and no heat haha)
        hospital parking card
        change
        oil/distilled water
        jumper cables
        basic tools (set of wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, duct tape)

        overall i like it pretty clean but you gotta have some stuff

          In the daily:
          Spare
          stock jack/tire iron
          12v air pump
          tire pressure gauge
          rag
          phone charger
          pens
          business cards
          general documents -- title, insurance, AAA

          In the e30:
          Basic tools
          flashlight
          sun glasses(e30 specific to bring me back to the era)
          1 qt oil
          brake fluid
          zip ties
          rag
          gloves
          tape(usually blue masking tape and duct tape)
          sometimes spare parts such as dizzy cap/rotor or coil. (simple things that can ruin your day or be quickly replaced)
          general documents

                        The cargo organizers are great, keep shit from flying around your trunk when going through twisties. They are real cheap online too, I've seem new oem sets priced at $20.

                                Oh and a cig lighter thing that gives me a USB and 3 prong plug for anything I may need.
