        1) BMW 3.0CSL

        2) Lotus Elan

I think that works out...close enough if not.

            e34 m5 touring: for daily/hauler
e30 m3 24v swap: for driving batshit insane fast

and having 150k to spend on cars is not really reasonable around here, this is r3v.

Keep 318is, I just bought, and haven't even picked up yet, until the M42 needs a rebuild, then swap an S14 into it.
Oh - and an old two-tone American pickup from the seventies to haul shit.

Ill do this in terms of Australian bucks (which are stronger, but since the market here is shit and overpriced it will work out worse)

Build up my current E30 S54, Coils, Relipped BBS's and a fully recovered Cardinal interior. 25k

Restore my 1970 Ford Falcon Air suspension, wide steelies, new paint, late model turbo engine/6speed auto swap, leather interior etc. would be a borderline show car but still usable 50k

E9 coupe Built with a nice s38 but otherwise restored to stock concourse appearance. 40k

Stock e30 m3 A good clean example, mostly stock. Seeing they are 50k minimum here in aus, id import the best i could find from wherever, so ill budget 30 to get that all done.

the last 5k would get me all the snap-on tools i want to work on them!

I wouldn't just buy cars... I'd build a nice climate controlled garage, complete with comprehensive Craftsman tool chest(free replacement guarantee) for myself, my 91'325i sedan, and my 87' 944 Turbo. Then I would restore my two cars to showroom condition. Finally I'd buy a SVO Mustang as a daily driver and a Wagoneer for the wife. I'd invest the rest for my future kid.

Might want to think the Wagoneer thing. They are horrible in a front end accident and tend to decapitate their drivers with the steering column.

I'm not the one who wants the Wagoneer. I'd rather have a station wagon of some kind.

Lets see here, I think I'd need:
BMW 3.0 Cs, with triple side draft carbs. Possibly set up for some track use
An E28 M5. For when I need to move more than just me
Another '69 US Spec 1750 GTV Alfa (the 1750 is a better motor than the 2l)
I'd finish my '59 Alfa Sprint project
Perhaps a 10/10ths Datsun roadster vintage race car.
A truck and enclosed trailer to haul things to the track.

What ever is left gets put into the racing budget. ;)
