    Motorsport Tech Adapters

I was wondering if any of you have bought motorsport tech adapters. I've read some reviews about the owner and it's mostly bad stuff. This guy had a pretty big problem with him. His name is Lenny Stahl Jr.

Ripoff Report on: Motorsport Tech - Lenny Stahl Jr. - Motorsport tech lenny stahl jr lost lawsuit for damage to car caused by error still refuse pay sparks nevad...

Do you guys know if he is reliable. I just bought a set of adapters from him and I want to know if I made a mistake or not. His site seems pretty professional, but when I called him, he sounded like he didn't want to do business. At first he was very short with me until I mentioned purchasing his products and then he started to be less rude. He said that it would take 3-5 business days to make the adapters because he is "busy", so I'm still waiting on them.

This thread says it takes him 2-3 weeks to get the adapters to you.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

I have the 4x100-5x120 adapters in 22mm and am local to them and have had no issues with them. I've auto-xed and driven the car hard with zero complaints.

People take the time to write reviews usually when it's bad.
Just like how it's bad to use survey data from only volunteers subjects.

I've bought from them in 2010 and so has a friend. Just custom inner/outer bore spacers though.

I got some of there hubcentric spacers on my car and his father refinished and filled and drilled my style 5's. They currently have my Aston Martin wheels for polishing and clear powder coating and I'm going to have motorsporttech do the adapters for em. There a A+ team in by book.

2 to 3 days probably becuase its winter and things are probably slow. Usually takes 2 to 3 weeks

Bought a set of adapters last summer from Lenny through email. Always responded quickly with excellent answers to my questions, I did have to wait two weeks or so to get them, but it was summer (busy season). The adapters were excellent quality and worked perfectly fine for me, I had no issues with Lenny or the product.

I think most of us are just a little impatient at times., with that said I have purchased adapters from these guys. Took a few extra weeks but, I was satisfied with my product.

Later on (months later) I had an issue with one of my adapters, put in a call to Lenny adviced of my issue. They took a few weeks to verify that the problem was their fault and made me a new piece at no extra charge, shipped.

I would do business with them again.

when i bought adapters, it was the worst parts buying experience i've had in 10 years of modding my bmws. the order was wrong, the order was wrong again, then when i complained about how long it was taking and how bad their customer service was, the owner called my a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles and told me to go to hell they wouldnt refund my money. the owner is a big time fuck head. i posted my story on the forums i frequent.

I've met the owner in person and he definitely seemed a bit out there. I stood in front of him and he didn't even acknowledge me for a minute or 2 even after I tried talking to him, he was lost in his computer in his little tiny shop.

between a friend and I, we've purchased about 6 sets from him. I just ordered a set for my e30, and my buddy just ordered and received his set for his new wheels on his VW. Never an issue!
