    School me on the legitimacy of this e21 turbo...

    body looks straight-ish (could DEF use some love)
    -comes with LSD
    -3 sets of wheels (two are pretty rare...the arrow's and EXIP's)
    -obvious engine swap
    -rats nest wiring with random butt connectors floating around


    it looks half good, half horrible...


    83 BMW 320 TWIN CARB TURBO with MANY EXTRA PARTS
    $3800.00 or best offer takes all.
    This car does NOT have the original 1.8 motor.
    The motor is an E20 2.0 turbo motor modified by Cartec (Corky Bell)
    The shell came from Texas and is very solid, but needs some cosmetic work.
    The car is complete, and the extra part are as follows.
    2 complete extra doors with LS interior trim
    1 complete trunk lid with the large tool box.
    Another set of 4 13"wheels like the ones on it.
    A set of 4 15" BB Arrow vortex wheels.(Rare directional wheels for cooling the brakes)
    A set of 4 15" aluminum spoke-type wheels.
    A complete front crosmember with struts and steering.
    A limited slip rear centre section.(Don't know the ratio-from an LS)
    A 5 speed 3 bolt transmission and driveshaft
    A shorter 4 bolt transmission and driveshaft (Very rare)
    Extra taillights.

    well, the wiring looks like it was just shit out of bigfoot's ass. otherwise, i think it is a good deal. he mentions an lsd. finding one for an e21 is really hard to do. i dislike those u.s. bumpers on an e21 even more than i do on an e30. too bad it doesn't have the recaro seats.

      the whole "built by cartech/Corky Bell" is my red flag...

      I've read Corky Bell's Turbo book...
      does this mean backyard mechanic junkyard turbo setup OR was it actually built by Cartech/Corky Bell?

      the radioshack wireloom leads me to believe the later...

        It sounds like it would be a cool car. Wouldn't mind having an e21 with a turbo'd M20. But... The quality of the build is my concern. The wiring is messy and more information on who/where is needed as far the turbo build. Cause a backyard build done by your own hands is one thing, but one by someone else is another..
