What would someone even do if they bought this? It's not even part-out-able
It's a shame to see a car so gone beyond repair, especially a very undesirable platform,a 325e auto..

are we looking at the same ad? the car isn't for me, but if you don't mind driving an auto, it looks like a steal to me. there are lots of e30s out there like this. for the right price, there is always a buyer. maybe not an enthusiast but someone will need a cheap dd for what its worth.

Seriously, though, it's one of god's chariots! Go through the body to make sure there's no rust, and drive it. If you want a different drivetrain, a different paint color, or whatever, then you get to work and make it what you want.
That car is not even close to as fucked up as other e30s I've seen.

There's several posts in AZ for 1500+ and they don't even run. I LOL'd at the haters in this thread.
On a side note though, I thought post '88 was the cut off year for the "super eta" not pre-88
that was what amused me about the dude who was talking shit about the burned GRM Challenge car because it was an "eta".
you mean to tell me that car started out with the ECONOMY six? well, now it's ruined forever.
That would be me.
All I said was that that car was no huge loss, because the title of it was a 325e, and not an E30 M3(where the value would have skyrocketed). I have no problems with cars with a "lowly" history. My M tech II car started life as a stripped out ZERO option 316 M10 car, and I love driving it now.
Now that car in the OPs post is a shitbox turd that is probably too far hacked to even want to try to fix it up... not that anything can't be fixed, just some things aren't worth it at the time.
That car really isn't that bad. I've definitely seem worse and if it gets you from A to B it's doing its job. Unless you wanna throw money at it but I'd daily it and paint it. Any paint is better that that.
