Does the legal system have no recourse for this type of fraud or is there just not enough tangible evidence?

Seems like with all the people he scammed someone would have pressed charges. I mean, ya'll have his personal info and plenty of people coming forth with fraudulent experiences with the guy...plus the extensive "documentation" of his activity here on this site and others. If i had been scammed by the creep i would have taken action by now.

Back in May a friend got beat by him (jeffreybacons username) at the time for $300 for yellow euro smileys. Never took the drive to Jersey cause honestly he's 19, we're not teenagers, he'll get hurt. So it kinda doesn't get brung up around the shop. Until a couple days ago i seen his f/s ad post on e30tech FB page. I got a pic of him, his black vert, his parents current address etc. I called him out on this and this is where we're at now. Hope nobody got took by this kid. I'm just looking out for the r3v community and not this piece of shit.

For crissake. I saw this jerks thread a few days ago and I thought it was wicked legit. haha who wouldnt be tipped off by that weird-ass yellow conduit in his engine bay? 'so the build begins' all he did was take the intake off ad put it on again! lol

Here's his e30tech facebook post with the link to Wert Motorsports on r3v. You can clearly see his name and pic. Proof. And he removed this ad yesterday after i called him out. Hmmm.

Had Indiana as his location. But IP out of Texas. Also if I dug deeper I bet he may tie in with the other scammers I banned not to long ago.

That guy sounded legit, I was supposed to send him some estimates on upholstery work. Now I'm wondering if he was going to try to scam me, by paying for the products and then making a paypal claim.

Torreira is the member name he was using most recently. Trying to sell heating elements for seats and soon as you showed interest he'd pm you for a $100 pre-payment. And now i notice he edited his f/s post under Wert Motorsport removing his paypal info.

thats what tipped me off to was the 100 preorder. His wert motorsport page did seem legit though just glad i didnt send money.
