Any advice on what I should do, besides the PayPal resolution?
Call his local police?Leave a comment:

Get posters and banners with his name, number and photos all over it.
step 2. Have an e30 meet on his street.
step 3. Hang said posters and banners and pictures on your e30 giving a clear picture of the perp and what he's actually done.
4. Sell lemonade to the neighbors explaining to them that you're trying to recoup money that their neighbor Kevin has scammed and stolen from all over the country.
That would be one hell of a wakeup call.Leave a comment:

I hope those who've been scammed or those who are local ARE taking actual legal action or reporting this to the police.
I myself just sent him a friend request on FB, lol. ;)Leave a comment:

We should sent him edible arrangements along with some balloons and flowers. And then ask him nicely to never scam again. Leave a note with $100 in it as well... That should do itLeave a comment:

I want to hear update from the house visit. Couple of guys out there should pull up on the other side of the street and just stand outside their cars staring at the house. That'd freak him out.Leave a comment:

PayPal should give me my money back. They are giving him until June 13 to respond. If PayPal has received complaints on his account before...it should be a no brainier.
Payback is a bitch.Leave a comment:

That's what this community needs. We all look out for each other and let's weed the bad seeds out of the hobby. Leave that shit to the JDM crowd.
The fact that he keeps coming back and he's only like 18-19. He's obviously never had to deal with any of these consequences. Saddest part is for all the dough he's ripped off you'd think his E30 would be something nice to look it. Just a clapped out POS with euro plates.

I can feel the R3V noose tightening and it is kinda exciting. We all love to see when thieves get what is coming to them so please elaborate on what punishment is served.
Dont beat this kids ass because its not worth getting a battery case and going to jail over.
With the accumulated evidence of this thread and it being made aware to the local police I would imagine that they could take action. I am wondering if it could be made a federal matter as well because of the width and breadth of fraud committed.
I for one have a healthy sense of fear of "The R3V" and will do my best to conduct myself in the most utmost professional manner within any and all transactions!Leave a comment:
