I know this seems like a dumb thread
But I was curious how long an engine can last while being maintained and driven hardLeave a comment:

^just because the manufacturer says so dosent disprove that its not bad for the engine. it could be prescribed for the sake of preventing something that is much more likely to break than the engine itself. or they could be hinting to enjoy the car every now and then ;)Leave a comment:

owners manual specifies that part of preventative maintenance is to run the motor to red line occasionally.Leave a comment:

Look at it this way, if you fap furiously fast once a month, using the recommended weight lube, you will create x amount of friction between your palm and penoose, thus causing wear.
If you fap every day for a month with slow even strokes, you will create the same amount of wear and tear on your dick, granted over a longer period of time.
Conclusion, win-win.Leave a comment:

Jesse usually shifted at redline with no problem, but he was running titanium valve springs.Leave a comment:

Bearings are NOT a metal contact surface
Most engine wear is from cold starts, not revving it once warm.Leave a comment:
