    number 1,2, or 3?

I have a good chance of buying a 1990 325is with a blown s50 in it. (the one i posted for sale a few weeks ago). I am buying it to keep all parts i need for my s50 swap this summer. this leads me to 3 decisions.
1-take out all the parts i want, engine, harness, mounts, booster, oil pan, ect and then replace it with my working m20 and sell it as a complete car.
2-keep the parts i want and part out the whole car, nice black sport interior, upgrade suspention, diff, speakers, etc and put crappy suspention and wheels on it and sell it as a rolling straight shell.
3-keep the parts i want and part out the whole car and pay to have a yard come haul it off for me.
*what do you guys think would be the best for me to do? think how much money i can come up with one of the 3 options and the time i would spend on each one.

#4- Fix the S50, sell it and spend the $8-9k on a swap for your car.

I personly dont think i could get 8-9 from the car with a running s50. Its a nice car but not in the 9 range.

You'll never be able to sell it as a shell. Whats blown on the motor?

I might be interested in a shell. I want plastic bumpers and LSD and sport intereior on a 2 door car for my daughter.

I need the car to be basically complete except for motor/tranny/ECU/wiring.

I do have a set of wheels and tires for her already. Struts and springs can be negotiated. I want Bilsteins/Koni's and something low and stiff for springs, she is getting my KYB/B+G setup on hers, so I need good shit for mine.

Gotta have decent sway bars, stock is OK, but would prefer IE's or something.

Then she gets an M10 or an M42...until she gets to be a good driver.

Got any ideas on price? I can come and get it, but not until spring. Unless the price is REALLY right...

I'd say #2, because time is money. Replacing your engine into it could end up being more work and not being able to sell the car for the time you put into it, however I may be wrong. Someone would want a rolling late model, look at how many people want them, if priced well it will be gone fast and you'll have some more money in your pocket.

Number 3- but instead of paying a hard to haul it for you- cut it into pieces with a sawsall and take it to the metal recycling place in your car one peice at a time... it'd be hellarious.

The motor has water in two of the Cylinders and has unknown millage on it. When my brother got it the valve cover was spray painted in ///m colors with every line having color overlap, i just dont trust this motor. i would rather use this motor as a donor to swap obdI parts to a 3.2l. I think i am leaning toward selling the car as a rolling shell. Any more input? i would love to hear some more.
