What would you pay for this E30?

So I'm a noob to E30's. But i found this 87 325is near me. What would you pay for it? Guy is asking $3000. Body has 219k, but has a rebuilt motor w/ 129k.

    Stuff n thangs:
New tbelt, tstat, waterpump, belts, gaskets, etc etc. Entire motor was checked and all seals/gaskets done on install
    New subframe bushings
    New Rotors/Pads
    Mtech 1 wheel
Mtech shift knob/boot (fancy one piece lighted)
Mtech 1 Euro Body Kit with Chrome Euro Bumpers
BBS RZ378's recently refinished at rimpro with Dunlaps
z3 short throw shifter with all bushings done
    New Drivetrain
    New Pads and rotors again
    Sport seats with seat covers
    New Starter
    Turner Motorsports Conforti Motor Chip
    New Radiator
    New Heater Core
    New In tank fuel pump.

So including all that delicious rust, how much would you pay for this car if you had to buy it.

Offer $2500. $2000 would better. I hate the seat covers and the rust. Nice otherwise.

That's a lot of rust. I think that rust alone would scare me away for good. Fixing that will require cutting and welding sheet metal.

Yeah that's a lot of rust I picked up a daily e30 325e with no rust for like 700 and just needs a new paint job a lot of new stuff done to it! I'd keep looking

Sounds great mechanically. However, if there is that much visible rust, the amount you can't see is probably frightening. $2500 would probably be my tops. Have a PPI done and get it on a lift.

Who makes those seat covers btw?

for a full MT1 car I would happily pay 2500-3k in that condition.

well, the rust sucks, but you live in the land of rust. it is what you have to expect in your area.

i don't know how deep your pockets are, but the car with the full mtech 1 kit and euro bumpers make it worth the 3k he is asking. if you want that body kit, this is likely the only chance you are going to get it. i would say just those parts alone are probably worth 1800.00 in good shape. those ronal wheels are really nice too. if the tires are good, they have to be worth a minimum of 600.00. that leaves only like 800 for what is left of the entire car. it is a good deal.

i would find a rust free body and transfer all the awesome goodies from that car to the shell that you will in the future find looking at craigslist in southern states.

you should buy it if you can afford it. period

                    i sure as hell would.

At first I thought I was the only one keying in on what appeared to be a M-Tech I car! That being said, I'd still offer low-$2's to start. Point out the obvious - lots o' rust. Otherwise, check the VIN on all the panels and bring cash.

You could get $2k just for the mtech kit. (euro bumpers, front/rear valence, skirts & trunk spoiler)

Buy that thing, and make sure to negotiate it as close to $2k as possible.

it probably doesn't matter if it is a true mtech 1 car. the simple fact is that it has the parts to make some other rust free body an mtech 1 car.
