Mine stopped too, at 427,327....I need to get it fixed soon so I can break the half million mark

Like a lot of others here.. my odometer stopped a little while back.
I would estimate it at between 177k-179k. Kind of average.

I would get in on this earliest build date contest.. but I don't know when my 84 318 was built. For you vin # decoders.. my vin is WBAAK7408E8418040.

most cars say they are an Auto... including my last 325E and now my 535iS... guess they ran out of auto trannies and decided to make them mauals...

Yep...

I bought it from the original owner with about 420k on it, so he deserves the credit. It is the original engine, tranny, and clutch (yes, really). It basically has lasted this long because it was owned by an enthusiast from the beginning, and always taken care of. Plus the fact that it only revs to 4-5k rpm's helps it :D
