Thanks George, look forward to getting this installed finally....good thing I didn't wait for this to install my 3 spoke Mtech steering wheel! I ordered this while I was deployed to Afghanistan, and I am going back in October, so I didn't want to receive it while I was gone again!1997 Artic Silver M3

Since this thread isn't going anyplace in particular I'll respond to this notion that driving an E30 is rarely rational. Some of us here spend irrational amounts of money and/or time on an irrational love for a hunk of metal that we may or may not do irrational things with/in. But being an F1 driver is irrational, jumping out of a balloon at 127,000ft+ is irrational, and most things we do "for love" or "for fun" are irrational. There is nothing inherently wrong with defying rational thinking, as long as one is careful with the extent to which they go :)-------------------------------------------------

I have read this whole thread and still don't know what he is making.. My first thoughts were he was making the display service brighter? Is this correct?
Also, is there still a chance of purchasing one of these?"Driving anything else would be uncivilised"Comment

To the people who have purchased this. An email has been sent (to the address you used to paypal) to confirm your address. Please answer the email.
If you didn't get an email, check your spam folder first. If it's still not there for some reason, PM me.
I know one or two of you have PM'ed me about an address change. But it can be really hard to match up forum names to real life names, so - please let me know any details in the reply to the email - and you'll be taken care of.
Thanks.Last edited by george graves; 04-10-2013, 02:32 AM.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Let me be the first to say "Very cool." I was worried this wasn't going to go anywhere, but you have made real progress. Thanks for gettin' 'er done!Comment

They are a graphic volt meter utilizing the service indicator lights. Eliminating them as their intended use and using them as a sliding volt meter instead with LEDs.sigpicComment
