I finished re-building all the display boards tonight.

Thanks for everyone replying to my email so quickly. I'll make note of any address changes.

I started packaging tonight and I should start shipping tomorrow - or most likely Friday - I would guess.

I'm going to have a few left over.

But when you buy an E30 it probably shows a lack of rational thinking anyway.

It is not a Camry after all.
Says the guy who joined a forum devoted to our 'euro crap'?

I agree though, it would suck to lose one hundred clams.

          They're delicious.

I like the way you type your posts.

          Eat a dick.

Why is the feedback closed for George? Because of the well deserved bashing?

It's posted in this thread why it got closed.

Mr325 is my gay lover, and he is pissed that I went straight.

Worked on an installation/data sheet tonight to include in the package - forgot I needed to do that. I like to include some info, and technical details on anything I ship.

Printed up labels for bags, got all the shipping boxes ready, etc.....You'd be surprised at how much a time-suck the little details takes.

Definitely interested in the cost for an extra one. Count me in!

I have one of GG's first iteration of the voltmeter, awesome work and I'm really happy to see that everything worked out.

As someone who has been on both the consumer and supply side of this situation it's never a good thing when your product doesn't go the way you want it to, especially when your initial sale is a prototype. The lack of communication will be the biggest downfall you can suffer. I went through it, lost a number of customers and had to sell off some of my toys so that I could refund customers. I also made the mistake of over extending myself, working 100+ hour weeks to refund my clients when all I needed to do was keep up communication with them in the first place. It was one hell of a lesson.

To all of those who have posted in this thread whether it be positive or negative, I respect your opinion but take it from someone who has lived through this and built an entirely new business off of the lessons learned.

Transparency and communication will always save you and your business. That is what customer service is: being open and honest during the toughest time, especially when your product isn't working. My new software company launches in 4 weeks, we have very little money and a lot of bugs to fix to make this thing work. Our beta testers have proven that they'll be patient as long as we're transparent, even though some of these bugs were first reported 16 months ago.

George, I'm really glad to see this is back on track! All the best and I definitely need to drum up some extra play money to get a few more of your products!

You should really read the final page of a thread before you post in it, or you risk looking like a tard.

Shit, if he read more than the FIRST page, he would have probably been okay.

And those little details are what seriously sets your products above everything else I've experienced in the small scale manufacturing world. The labels, the printed bags, the paperwork, the instructions, the calibration sheets, the stickers on the product itself, all well thought out and beautifully done.

Good work George Graves, I might have to buy one of your spares to go with my trio of G Gauges just so I have a complete George Graves cluster!

And I have a project that might interest you. Has to do with LCD screens, well, a VFD in this case, in a gauge cluster. I'll PM you.

While I'm thinking about it, can you reflow a BGA chip on a circuit board? I've got a monitor that's going out that needs one of its circuit boards reflowed, and I'm debating build my own reflow oven, or trying to find someone who can do it for me.

All are packaged and going in the mail tomorrow - a tracking number has been sent to your email as well.

I'm going to have 6 left over.
