The worst part is, by reading the ad, he really almost sounds like a halfway reasonable guy. But then I realized that no one in their right mind would ever do something like that.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Exactly. It's a Craigslist ad with punctuation!

I'll agree with the "Why" but at least he did it properly. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't know that it isn't a BMW.

It looks like an E36 but squished.

4 speakers in one door...better than a BMW? Depends on how many cup holders.

My wife looked at the ad and just said, "It's a cross-dressing car."

You know, if I had the cash burning a hole in my pocket and space to park it, I'd almost consider it as a winter beater. Totally not worth the investment to build, but $3,500 for the laughs AND a low-mileage Toyota econobox underneath for the salt? Might almost be worth it.

But Lord help me, I actually want that Dasher.

Some of you guys may remember, but a few years back on "pimp my ride", they took a young lady's broken down ford escort (with a cracked subframe) and turned it into a "BMW". I couldn't find any pics or video, just this thread discussing it: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum//showthread.php?t=46849
