Mine really came to life after I finished the swap. I was lucky enough to find a super clean early model at the junkyard with almost everything I needed, including an almost brand new clutch! I Probably spent just under $500 total, with a good chunk of that budget going to the Z4 2.5 shift lever and e46 ZHP knob.
I have yet to buy a knob man, i blew my entire paycheck in 24 hours on a clutch and a front right guard for my E30 (Most people work to support their families, i work to support my e30 -_-) So i will prob have to get a shift knob after the conversion :( Any reccomendations? what to look for? And clutch stop... noted.
