Pacific Motorsports here in portland did a number on a customers car. I has a m3 front suspension and a e34 rear suspension with an e34 v8 in it, stripped out with a working A/C, front and rear bumer covers from an e30 m3. I hate e21s but i love this one

WOW!!! Mike you have been through a lto of cars... That cirrusblau e21 looked nice.

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

thats not even a scratch on the top of how many BMWs ive owned. It has to be in the 30 something range. back in the days i got tired of a car after about 2 months, sold it, and got a different one.
back on topic here. I loved the E21s, but opposite of what someone here said, the interiors are really lacking compared to the E30. I still remember the first E30 I owned--the red one in one of the pics- my first thought was how much nicer the interior was, and how much more insulated it felt. but i still liked the rawness of the E21 alot more.

Thats too funny. My impression is the exact opposite. Going from a e21 Alpina B6 to a e30 just within the last week the e30 feels quite tinny and uninsulated. Granted the interior is almost new in the e30 but I miss the recaros. But I agree stock e30 interior owns stock e21 interior.

Hmmm, those look suspiciously like Honda Prelude seats. I have seen them in '02s before.

Interesting. The only reason I guessed Scheel seats is the courdoroy (I think thats what material it is). Although I have never seen a scheel seat that looks like that one.

whats up man, glad you made it to r3v. did you get an e30? did you sell the 02? i almost sold my e30 to buy your 02 but you had already put the deposit on it over at concord motorsport. post some pictures of that beauty, people here will appreciate it. if its not sold yet and your thinking about tossing it, let me know how much?

                          Hey Dan,
Yes I did pick up a e30. Bronzit '89 325i with 77k miles from Cali. Not a spot of rust. Im waiting to unvail her on the boards untill spring. Nothing too serious as it will be a daily driver.
The 2002 is still in my stable where it will stay for now. The engine is being rebuilt. Since I blew the headgasket I figured good a time as any to rebuild. Also because of the coilovers I need to strengthening up the chassis with a mild roll cage. Im looking to get Snapdragon Motorsports to do that.
I did sell the Alpina although it still sits in my shop, and I just bought my e34 back for dirt cheap. Im sittin on 5 cars now. Three cars to many.
The thought of selling the 2002 is always in the back of my head but then I look at it and the thought goes away. :D

Im assuming that was directed at me? (i dont remember mentioning it)
But your right, I am moving to NC in Nov. to attend UTI so Im looking at the immediate area of Mooresville. Ive found several nice looking complexes to rent for an affordable price, in and around Mooresville. Im excited to live somewhere warm and to live near other enthusiasts. My friend and I are the only ones around my area that live and breath BMW.

those seats arent honda, I had them before that style prelude seat even came out.
as far as the int. goes, yes the E21 did seem more roomy, but the thickness of the doors is alot more on the E30- maybe it was a euro thing.?
the seats werent cord., but close, just thinner and more soft feeling. they were also made just for the E21-brackets anyway. I want a 2002 soo bad too!! how do they seem to compare?
