I was picking up some previously done upholstery work for my boat and saw a really nice cabrio in All City Convertibles and Customs in Kirkland. It was getting the works on the interior and had some of the best exterior vinyl wrap work I've seen in a long time. Anyone know who's e30 this might be? Perhaps I'll see it at the e30 picnic, I'd like to see it all put back together. Anyways, very nice work and I'm hoping to see it around in the future.

Guess I should have, but I left my phone in my truck and it takes lousy pics, sorry. I figured I'd ask first in case somebody somebody was waiting for it to be done for a big reveal. Anyways, the car was fully wrapped in vinyl, including the door jambs and thresholds, it looked like a complete repaint. From a distance it looks like a complete wrap that is nearly matte black but up close it was a matte graphite below the crease/pinstripe line with a dark brushed aluminum above, with very nice attention to detail. The interior was completely stripped, including the dash. Only the driver's seat was installed, the rest were in progress. Looks like e46 (maybe e36?) sport seats completely reupholstered in red leather. I wasn't able to see if there were any goodies under the hood.
Whoever owns it is definitely doing it the right way and not taking any shortcuts. I have been very impressed with all of All City's work that I've seen and have no doubts the finished product will be anything but amazing.
