I'm trying to decide whether to leave the 325 badge, debadge, or to put the "m" on the back of the touring (post s50 swap). I know purists say no bc it doesn't have a m vin, but it will have the heart :). I wouldn't use the whole m3 badge, just the m.

To ///M badge, or not to ///M badge...
118Leave the god damn 325 badge alone. Despite your efforts, that's what it is.24.58%29Debadge that touring and surprise some minivans!46.61%55Throw the Motorsport m on it. You've put enough time and money into it to do what you want.9.32%11Technically it is now a 330, and you should use that instead.19.49%23Last edited by nl328i; 04-20-2013, 03:39 PM.1976 2002, 1987 325is, s50 1991 touring, 1996 328i vert

His joke is saying all US-Spec e36 m3's are not real M powerplanted because they are m50/2 based engines, not real S-VIN engines. It's ok, you'll get it one day.

if the internals are the same, what would it matter if its stamped with a s-vin or not? If it was not worthy BMW would have done something about it.-FREEDOM- is cruisin at 80, windows down and listening to the perfect song-thinking "this is it"
