It's not an M car. there are huge differences between and an M car and all the rest of the E30s. Engine doesnt mean shit. It's not a fucking M car: No M badge!

I've got 325IS on one side and the M badge on the other side. S52 engine tranny driveshaft and diff swapped. Sport seats, Mtech 1 wheel and lighted Mtech knob makes me feel like I have enough to wear some M clothing.
Better then my first car which was an 84 MB 190e. I got the car for free and threw an AMG badge on the back of it.
That badge was good for atleast 30 HP!!!!

Just because its has a 3.0 wouldn't make it a 330. 325 badge or nothing.

The difference between the Euro and US S50 is akin to chocolate and shit.

The US cars got the inferior engines because it was much cheaper. E30 M3's weren't exactly flying off the lots, and with a hefty price tag. The new E36 M3s were cheaper than the E30's. Using the euro engines would have made them more expensive.
