If you go through BAR and they certify it then it will pass smog no problem. Otherwise you get an illegal smog

This thread is making me realize the size of the mountain I'm going climb to get my e30 in the shape I'd like.

Paid 1800 for it and have at least 10k into it so I'd say a a safe 12 grand. But hey it looks nice haha.

I don't even want to know what I have in mine. 5 years of ownership, shit paint, and a stock M10. Lots of suspension work, brake conversion, interior and exterior parts, different wheels and tires, rear end build. The list goes on. Not to mention a LOT of parts that never went on the car because I changed my mind,

Have had my latest e30 for 2 weeks and have $5500 in it already. Clean body, M50 swapped, coilovers, custom exhaust work, skid plate, smoked turn signals....much much more to be done....it all adds up very fast!

I bought mine for $1000, sold $1700 worth of parts off it.....then spent it on other stuff.......I refuse to keep track after passing that number but I know it's close to 3K.

I think you'll find s54 being cheaper and less hassle in the long run as well. I'd go s38 only if you want to really want it for a specific reason(s).

everytime I try to start from the begining, I get frustrated and just give up calculating.

I have holes in my f'king socks, but my E30 has the best parts on it.

    figure that.
