Gauge cluster dimensions

Does anyone have the dimensions of an E30 gauge cluster? That other thread kinda sparked my imagination to build the cluster for the track car... if anyone has the dimensions of an E30 cluster that'd be awesome, as I'm in bed and really don't feel like going outside to measure mine. :)

I don't know the dimensions offhand, but that cluster was a really good idea, just doesn't work with an e30 (esp. one that's good lookin' from the outside like his).

Yeah, I'm planning on doing a layout that's somewhat of a compromise between his and the BMP cluster, but with VDO Vision series gauges... the actual plate the gauges mount to will likely either be a piece of CF I have laying around or aluminum.

This whole cluster will likely cost me less than $300, gauges, sending units, and all included. Not too bad considering the price of the BMP setup.

We want to do a cluster in the center AC vent..... worried about oil starvation on track, and an op and ot gauge would be nice...... but today it dawned on me it might be kinda hard to see gauges in the middle of an 85 mph sweeper!!!!!!!!!!!!.........hmmmm, maybe spa digital
