Need opinions. What do you think?

Hey guys i am currently driving a 1st gen E34 ( M20+Auto :yawn:) waiting to finish building my E30.. But just came across another 1st gen E34 (M30) -Despite being auto, with 98k on the odo AND original paint... How much do you think you'd pay to pick this car up?

A/c, windows, all electricals work, and NO rust. Car starts to run rough when the engine starts warming up, on idle and under load. Car doesn't die or anything, just a rough idle and bit of sputtering on accel.

Yeah i am building a 5/6spd e30, i just want a daily.. Possibly slam it on style 5's/42's/95's and cruise But just wondering what anyone thinks on this as a potential buy.

Looks clean, but was that the e34 that had the nikasil (sp) issues? Also I can say from having owned a car immediately after an old person there has probably been damn near no maintenance done. I have no idea on price, but just some stuff to consider.

only the v8's had nikasil the m30 is cast iron block

the color combo is terrible imo

Less than $2k. It's got a lot going for it, but there is a lot of work to be done to make it worthy of a daily driver. You're going to have to get the idle/sputtering issue straightened out which could end up being fairly expensive. I know I would definitely want to have the seats reupholstered, speaking for myself.

I honestly dont mind Auto, Pops owns a shop so parts are decent on price -I've done a 5spd swap on my 1st E30 and i wouldn't mind doing it again. But a Reliable DD (M30 = TANK) is all i care for. The M20 just doesn't have the power i need to accel through traffic that i need...

Ok, i'll admit, the color combo is HIDEOUS. No way in making that sound any nicer... But ask yourself, you think you'll find another e34 this clean (minus the seats), in running cond. -Along with original paint?? with 98k!?!?

I personally would love to change the int. color to black, always optional.
