        i thought that changing that handle was easy as hell. all you have to do is work inside the hole. take the pin out of the handle and set aside the plastic part that bolts to the body. just take the caps off both ends of the metal tube that holds the cable and unscrew it. now screw it on to the new handle, slip the part that screws to the body on to the handle and slide the pin back in. at this point just align it with the hole from the inside and put the two screws in. it takes longer to write it up than it actually takes to do it.

              You must have removed something i didn't because i could not get my hands in a position to do it as easily as you are claiming it is. In an Open space, yes i agree it would be easy, but with the limited space available for hands it was not that simple for me.
