Just took a modified Gallardo for 7 laps around the track

And by modified, I mean exhaust only which is deafening...backfires sound like shotgun shots.

At 550+hp and awd it's still not forgiving as I got squirrelly out of a corner.
Snap the throttle from 2nd 3rd and into 4th and its unreal sounds and feeling.
    Want whiplash? Hit the brakes!

    What an experience.
If you get a chance to race these exotics, do it.

    Pics to follow.

550-2 or 560-4? The AWDs I drove were super planted and predictable on throttle, though obviously the RWD versions weren't so.

the brakes are insane on the gallardos. I think I got whiplash from when I raced it too.

              560-4.

pretty much started raining\hailing when I started my set....

and NOT so predictable coming out of long apex, and wheels are straight....pin in in 2nd and they break loose..got in car video of me driving\and race.
can't seen to figure out the upload.

Wait until you try something with carbon ceramics ;)

Hail would definitely explain the wheelspin. :)

It's not cheap, I get a kickback in my line of work.
You can do 3 laps(about 8 minutes) for about $125....

This was actually a gift from my wife, for 7 laps and a incar video.

The "coaches" you sit with take you in their car( I rode in the Ferrari) and they show you the lines, where I brake, apex a corner etc.

Afterwards coaches sit in passenger seat and tell you when to brake. Otherwise it's abuse all you like. Their 1 rule is simply to keep it on the pavement and away from the walls.

Dunno what happens when you crash.
They had a Ferrari with a missing rear bumper in the pit area...so I guess it happens.
