How to replace a flat tire on a 91 VW Jetta in 10 easy steps

    1. Drive 45 mins to your brother on the freeway in the sleet/snow
    2. Pass him, and wait 5 miles for the next exit to turn around
    3. After figuring out that the factory jac sits on a CORNER while you jack up the car, you realize you need to remove the hubcap.
    4. Realize the FACTORY toolkit doesn't have the right size socket nor wrench for the FACTORY hubcap.
    5. Proceed to curse at the hippie company
    6. Get in BMW, drive 45 mins back home to get tools.
    7. Repeat steps 1-3.
    8. Remove Hubcap
    9. Replace Spare
    10. Drive Home

    :curse: :letitout:

                    I have a similar story.
About a year ago 4 of my friends and I went down to Providence for a concert. We left the show at about 1 AM and, after driving around the city for about 15 minutes trying to find the highway, hit 6 inch deep pothole with both left wheels. About 20 seconds later one of them was completely flat. So we all hop out of the car, I pop open the trunk, pull out the spare and... no lug wrench! We ended up waiting on the side of the road an hour and a half waiting for AAA, in 25 degree weather and freezing rain. Good times, good times. By the way, it was my moms car, an 89' 325ix. I always make sure that I have a jack and the correct lug wrench in my car all the time, after that night.

And the worst part was that a really annoying kid was there too. Adam sucks.

Changing a flat on a VW:

                          1. Get in BMW and go to gas station.
                          2. buy an emergency tank and fill it with 87 octane.
                          3. buy matches/lighter
                          4. go back and liberally soak VW in gasoline.
                          5. Light match and run.
                          6. Next day go get your $8 from insurance.
                          Im now E30less.
