Wow, what a great school I go to!

One of our star 6'7" senior basketball players just got cought counterfieting around 300 dollars last week. His punishment from the school - 3 day suspension and he couldn't start in the game. I know he will get more punishment from the feds as the agents are all around my town gathering information. But it just bugs me that the 18yrold star athlete gets almost no punishment in the school, we get 3 day suspension for not serving a few hours of detention. I know for a fact that if any other non-athlete student at our school were cought printing money they would be probably suspended long term or even expelled.

Does anybody else feel like "outstanding" people get the better end of the stick?

dood....jockocracy is rampant....out our school a couple football players were hazing this smaller football player...they tied him up and were hitting him and shit...they got 2 days in school suspension...in our little "handbook" it says "minimum of 10 days OSS"

I agree. There's a story of a local synchronized swimmer who's on the US Olympic team. She recently rolled her SUV and in doing so, killed her boyfriend and an 11 year old kid, who was her student. Plead guilty to vehicular manslaughter, but won't serve any time (something like 30 days) until after the Olympics. What kind of message does that send to people?

the law will deal with him

I got attmepted theft in the second degree and school suspended me for a week or two and then ontop of that i had to goto court and shit and deal with the law. :?

The item was worth about that much too ($200-300)

That all happend in Sophmore year and now im a Senior.

It didnt help my case when i lied to the police officer either but he suspected i was lying and about a week later i was pulled from class and ask a few more questions and thats when it went down hill the cop was like blah blah then he through handcuffs down onto my lap and my father was luckily home so they released me into his custody.

I wont bore anyone with the whole story. ;)

              Good times good times.

With punishment that light, you must go to Mizzou? So what is it, WSU?

Its highschool, hes a senior and was distributing the bills at school.

I agree with the "not the schools business" but when the athlete is selling 20 dollar bills for 5 dollars to other students in the school, I think they should have done a bit more.

I would be happy to see this kid go to jail and do some time, he needs it.
