    My resurrected 87 325e

    Hey all
So back in january I picked up a PNO'd 325 from a guy of craigslist claiming it needed a hewd gasket. Picked her up for $850 with three sets of wheels as a project. As of today I got it smogged after replacing all the shocks, new tires, timing belt and water pump, new injectors, New spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and spark wires.
The odo is broken and it has some gauge issues, and it needs a new center supoort bearing. But other than that I scored a pretty clean E30.

      Yep, good looking car.
Changing the centre bearing and the guibo makes a heck of a difference, the odo gears aren't hard to change.
Good deal, wish I lived in California!

      I'm sorry, but: PNO'd?

Are those wheels Compomotives? The car looks nice and clean. So it didn't need a head gasket after all?

          Possibly Not Operative?

Looks like you got a steal man! Very nice looking, a little drop and perfect.

the main problem is bad u joints (sticky/warn) but most ppl. just band-aid the problem with a new c/b and guibo
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

PNO is planned non op. Yup compression test yielded numbers about 156 psi on almost all cylinders. I reckon the guy was getting ripped off by the mechanic he went to. The wheels are Enkei 92's. Awesome looking wheels.

Is this that car that was on Craigslist and had black/ red interior a while back? I remember calling a guy with a red e30 who had 3 sets of wheels non running. Bay area classifieds btw

Yeah he had red and black seat covers on it. I took them off and the seats were ok but the drivers seat has part of the frame cut so I'm swapping in new ones
